This is how your Upholstery will be cleaned.

As for Carpets, Upholstery needs to be assessed so the correct cleaning method can be used, because different fibre mixes or styles may require different cleaning, either wet or dry.

To prevent any moisture transferring onto carpets or hard floor under the suite, We use a waterproof undersheet and cotton blanket to absorb any overspray.

Once the choice of cleaning process has been decided the first step, as for carpets is a full dry vacuum. This is important as it removes all the dry soiling which could bleed colour if it was made wet first. The suite will be vacuumed over all its surfaces to include surrounds and both sides of the cushions.

Following this any stains will be treated with the relevant spot treatment products to aid in their removal. Due to the nature of fabrics used, stain removal may be less successful if no protection has been applied to the suite prior to use.

If the suite is to be wet cleaned it will now have a pre spray applied to aid the removal of general soiling, especially in the areas where the arms and head rest, and on the cushions. This is mainly due to grease from the skin and hair, but can be tackled with the right products.

When all the pre treatments have been completed and fully agitated, the suite will be fully cleaned by either Dry Cleaning, Dry Shampoo or Hot Water Extraction. This will remove all the deposits from the cleaning process.

After the cleaning process has been completed, terry towels would be used along with turbo driers to speed up drying times. With these methods the suite can be dried much faster, allowing it to be used again sooner.

Stain protection can be applied to the freshly cleaned suite. Though not stopping the suite from getting dirty, it will help reduce the chances of further stains becoming permanent.
