The first step towards a thoroughly clean carpet would be a full dry vacuum to remove any dry soil, dirt and dust because around 80% of the soiling in the carpet is non-soluble. That is why we use a powerful upright vacuum cleaner with a power brush to ensure the removal of all dry particulate soil. This gets trapped at the base of you carpet despite regular vacuuming and acts like sandpaper causing premature damage to your carpets. When we have removed this, we can begin the wet procedures. This will concentrate on the last 20% of soiling.

These mainly consist of sticky and oily residues which need to be separated from the carpet pile. To aid removal, we apply a suitable pre conditioner which will help to break down this remaining soil. To accelerate this process we then agitate using brushes. Now we pretreat any remaining spots before the final hot water extraction rinse. We use powerful machines which generate hot water and extract the waste solutions from the carpet. This is arguably the most effective way to deep clean your carpets. When this is complete fan blowers are used to reduce the drying times.

During cleaning, sofas, tables and empty furniture can be readily moved with our circular sliders. After cleaning and as a precaution against staining, all furniture will have protective pads put underneath legs or wheels. These pads should be left under furniture until the carpet is totally dry. If required, stain protection can be applied to the freshly cleaned carpet to help prevent further staining. This process will not stop the carpet getting dirty again however it will reduce the chances of a stain becoming permanent.
